What the World Needs Now
A participatory music video for a better world.
At the TEDx Conference in 2010, we collaborated with songwriter Jill Sobule and visual artist Aaron Koblin to create a one-of-a-kind participatory music video. We invited conference attendees to illustrate their vision of what the world needs now—each drawing captured on 16x9 cards and seamlessly animated into the final piece.
Alongside local students, we recorded an original song with Jill Sobule, weaving together music, art, and collective expression to premiere at TEDx. The project became a design in participation, spreading awareness about climate change and inspiring hope for a better world.
