Navigating Ambiguity

Ambiguity is inevitable, but it can also be a creative advantage.

We partnered with the Stanford d.school to design and produce a series of videos exploring how students and staff prepare to navigate uncertainty in the real world.

Featuring interviews and reflective metaphors, the videos brought these ideas to life through a dynamic, human-centered lens.

The videos were showcased as part of the d.school’s exhibit at SF Design Week, inviting audiences at Pier 27 to engage with the concept of ambiguity and discover how designers turn uncertainty into possibility.

Scott Doorley | Creative Director Stanford d.school

“I think ambiguity is like the ocean because it surrounds us. If you’re on an island you’re going to have to figure out how to navigate the sea. It the same thing, we’re surrounded by ambiguity and if we want to do anything, we have to figure out how to navigate it”
